Priest-In-Charge David Niemeyer

David comes to us from two area parishes, Trinity Highland Springs and St. Francis, Goochland. Ordained in the Roman Catholic Church in 1982, David transitioned to the Episcopal Church in 2008. In between he had an active career as Family and Marriage Therapist, and founded and led a Family Business Institute at Rutgers University. David and his wife Arielle have two grown children, Sara and Michael. |
Associate Rector Charles Aiken |
"Buck" as he is affectionately called, and his wife, Bobbie, have been part of this church most of their lives. Buck retired from Scott and Stringfellow. The Aikens have two grown children. Buck leads the Wednesday night Bible study, while Bobbie sings in the choir. |
Priest Associate Edgar Adams

Edgar and his wife Becky, came to St. Mark's in 1998. Edgar, a former rector of a church in Philadelphia for 33 years, preaches, teaches, and actively contributes to the worship services. Becky, a social worker by profession, is a very active member of our parish, and belongs to the choir. |
Music Director David Wheeler |
David has served as church organist and choirmaster since 1989, has a Master of Sacred Music degree from the Union Theological Seminary in New York City. A licensed clinical psychologist, David is Director of Psychology at Poplar Springs Hospital in Petersburg and has a private practice in Richmond. |
Director of Lay Ministry & Formation Malinda Collier

Malinda has an under-graduate and graduate degree in visual arts and art history and a Masters in Christian Education from The Virginia Theological Seminary. She and her husband George (who is a devoted member of the Holy Comforter Choir) share their museum-district home with a very spoiled cat. |
Church Administrator Steve Barnes

Steve is a native of Virginia, a graduate of Randolph Macon College, an author and currently lives in Richmond. |
Sexton Noah Cozart |
Noah has been working with us for many years. A native Richmonder, Noah and his wife, Rosa Lee, have two children. |
